Draft Review 2006

Good pick is a player that can help a team win in 2006, or a solid prospect.

OK pick is a player with questionable value for 2006 or a prospect with questionable value.

Bad pick is a player that who probably doesn't deserve a roster spot in our league.

Where a player is drafted does not effect the ratings as a good pick is a good pick no matter what round of the selection.

Future position designations a per the 2006 BA Prospect Handbook and reflect 2009 projected lineups.

1st Round:
#1 ALEX Ryan Zimmerman 3B WAS
Good pick. Nationals' 3B. I would have selected the young offensive stud at 3B over the closer (Turnbow) as well. Zimm will be a solid fantasy player despite the BA concerns over power. The guy hit almost .400 in bigs last year in the same season he was drafted out of college.

#2 PAGS Derrick Turnbow CL MIL

Good pick. Brewers' Closer. Everyone is a bit skeptical on Turnbow as he came out of no where last season, but his numbers have no holes. Mike will attempt to get another Gagne return (or something close to it) with Turnbow, we'll see how far he gets with that.

#3 ALEX Tom Gordon CL PHI
Good pick. Phillies' Closer. Could be a gamble pick due to Gordon's age and health concerns, but it's a risk that has to be taken. Flash had an impressive 1.09 WHIP last season so he could be a dominant closer if he does stay healthy.

#4 KEN Joe Borowski CL FLO

Good pick. Marlins' Closer. A gamble pick that could burn Ken. Borowski was cut by the D'Rays' in December and has been scuffling the past couple of seasons since losing his fastball. However, he is the Marlins' closer as long as he can fight off the erratic Travis Bowyer this Spring.

#5 PAGS Jonathan Broxton RP LA

Good pick. Dodgers' set up man. Mike kept quiet on this one. I was convinced Alex was taking Broxton #3 over Gordon. Broxton has the chance to evolve in to a dominant closer, but first he needs to emerge as a reliable set up man in 2006.

#6 PAUL Bob Howry RP CHI
Good pick. Cubs' set up man. I'm not as high on Howry as everyone else. He was great last year but has a shaky track record prior to that. Not sure Howry makes sense for Paul who insist he's not trying to win in 2006. Of course the Chicagoans are still waiting for Dempster to implode and thus Howry becomes their closer.

#7 BILL Ronny Cedeno SS CHI
Good pick. Cubs' SS. I like Cedeno who doesn't get too much hype. He wasn't much of a prospect prior to last year, but I think he could be a productive SS starting in 2006.

#8 PAGS Troy Tulowitzki SS COL

Good pick. Rockies' future SS. Tulo may not be as good of a hitter as his prospect star warrants. However, he's projected to get to the majors quickly and will be playing in Coors Field.

#9 DAN Mike Jacobs 1B FLO

Good pick. Marlins' 1B. Dan's secret pick unveiled. BA isn't that high on Jacobs, but Dan fell in love with his .710 SLG in 100 major league ABs.

#10 DIORIO Bill Mueller 3B LA

Good pick. Dodgers' 3B. This could be a back fire pick. Mueller isn't the most durable player and gets his value boosted as a fan favorite in Red Sox Nation.

#11 PAUL Jacque Jones OF CHI

Good pick. Cubs' RF. Another questionable pick for Paul who insists his eyes are on 2007. Jones is a nice support player, but not building block type player.

#12 PAUL Joey Devine RP ATL
Good pick. Braves' RP. Braves' closer spot is wide open heading in to Spring Training with Devine a legit candidate. Chris Reitsma is getting some recent hype, some Devine may have to pitch out of a set up role to begin 2006.

2nd Round:
#13 PAUL Jarrod Saltalamacchia C ATL
Good pick. Braves' future LF. That's right LF, with Brian McCann at C. Salty may end up being the best long term pick of the players selected to this point. He's a stud prospect.

#14 BILL Todd Coffey RP CIN

OK pick. Reds' RP. RotoWorld boosted Coffey's stock talking about him as a closer candidate for 2006. He had some bad numbers last year and I consider him a long shot to close at this point.

#15 MARK Dan Wheeler RP HOU

Good pick. Astros' RP. Wheeler emerged as a top set up man last year and with Lidge's name fluttering in trade rumors Wheeler has nice LT closer value. However, I think Chad Qualls could be right there with Wheeler on the Astros' closer depth chart.

#16 ALEX Ryan Braun 3B MIL

Good pick. Brewers' future 3B. Braun is a solid offensive prospect who could get to the majors quickly.

#17 KEN Eric Byrnes OF ARI

OK pick. D'Backs' CF. I don't like Byrnes at all. Doesn't hit right hand pitching. D'Backs also have Carlos Quentin and Jeff DaVanon to play CF, this could end up being a bad pick.

#18 PAGS Carlos Gonzales OF ARI

Good pick. D'Backs' future RF. Solid hitting prospect who could take off in 2006.

#19 DAVIS David Weathers CL CIN
Good pick. Reds' Closer. Weathers will return to a set up role, it's just a matter of when. I still like Ryan Wagner in the Reds' closer picture if he's healthy this Spring Training.

#20 DAVIS Yorvit Torrealba C COL
Good pick. Rockies' C. Torrealba has a questionable bat, but is solid defensively and should get plenty of Coors Field ABs.

#21 PAGS Tony Clark 1B ARI
OK pick. D'Backs' bench. Clark had the comeback season last year, but is stuck behind Conor Jackson. A shaky pick by rebuilding Mike as Clark doesn't have much trade value.

#22 PAUL Chris Duffy OF PIT
Good pick. Pirates' CF. I'm not a big Duffy fan as I question how much he's going to hit. He'll get a chance to prove me wrong leading off for Bucs in 2006.

#23 BILL Jason Hirsh SP HOU
Good pick. Astros' future #2 SP. Way too early for Hirsh in this spot. Hirsh is a solid SP prospect, but could have been drafted later on. Also not sure what Bill is doing here as he's still committed to contending in 2006, right??

#24 PAGS Yunel Escobar SS ATL
Good pick. Not in Braves' 2009 projected lineup. I like Escobar as a prospect. However, Edgar Renteria is in his way now and I like Elvis Andrus much better as a LT prospect over Escobar.

3rd round:
#25 BOB Elvis Andrus SS ATL
Good pick. Not in Braves' 2009 projected lineup. I like Andrus a lot. High upside prospect.

#26 BILL Nelson Cruz OF MIL
Bad pick. Not in Brewers' 2009 projected lineup. The King waived Cruz back in November and after the entire league passed on him in the waiver draft, Bill snags him with a high 3rd round pick?? Cruz may be end up being a 4th OF at best.

#27 MARK  Corey Koskie 3B MIL
Good pick. Brewers' 3B. Koskie has become an injury guy, but still a nice spot in the draft to pick up a starting IF.

#28 MIKE A Jose Cruz, Jr. OF LA
Good pick. Dodgers' LF. Cruz burned Dan last year with a subpar first half, so Cruz is no sure thing to have decent season. Yet he is a solid veteran for a contending team.

#29 BILL Pokey Reese 2B FLO
OK pick. Marlins' potential 2B. Reese needs to beat out Rule V pick Dan Uggla for the 2B job. Even if he does Reese can't hit and is always hurt. Maybe this is a bad pick??

#30 PAGS Scott Mathieson SP PHI

Good pick. Phillies' future Closer. Mathieson is currently a SP, but has received closer hype with a potential move to bullpen. Long shot for Phils' bullpen coming out of upcoming Spring Training.

#31 DAVIS Cory Sullivan OF COL
Good pick. Rockies' CF. I see Sullivan as an eventual 4th OF, but for now he's the Rockies' regular CF.

#32 PAGS Mike Pelfrey SP NY
Good pick. Signed too late to make BA Prospect Handbook. Pelfrey has a high upside and could move quickly. Nice stud prospect at this point in draft.

#33 BILL Jorge Sosa SP ATL
Good pick. Braves' Starting rotation. Sosa is a solid SP who could be on the rise.

#34 BILL Gary Majewski RP WAS
Good pick. Nationals' set up man. Chad Cordero's main set up man.

#35 PAUL Ryan Shealy OF/1B COL
Good pick. Rockies' potential platoon RF. Shealy has a high upside if he can get playing time. I think he's a legit prospect and not just a Coors Field aided hitter.

#36 DIORIO Larry Bigbie OF STL
OK pick. Cardinals' potential LF. Bigbie has fizzled out the past couple of seasons, but could get semi-regular ABs in Tony LaRussa's ever changing lineups this year.

#37 ALEX Lance Niekro 1B SF

OK pick. Giants' potential 1B. Giants' 1B job should be there for Niekro's taking this Spring Training. I'm not a fan as he can't hit right hand pitching.

#38 BOB Anderson Hernandez 2B NY
OK pick. Mets' future 2B. Despite BA naming Hernandez to the 2009 starting lineup, I see nothing more than a utility IF here.

#39 PAGS Hong-Chih Kuo RP LA
OK pick. Not in Dodgers' 2009 projected lineup. Kuo throws hard and has a chance to be left hand set up man starting in 2006.

#40 BILL Bill Bray RP WAS
Good pick. Not in Nationals' 2009 projected lineup. Bray is a solid future closer candidate who could emerge as a set up man in Nats' bullpen this year.

#41 DAVIS Ricardo Rincon RP STL

OK pick. Cardinals' set up man. Rincon could have a decent hold season despite being past his prime.

#42 DAVIS Travis Ishikawa 1B SF

OK pick. Giants' future 1B. Ishikawa isn't a top prospect but is a solid next level type guy.

#43 DAVIS Bret Boone 2B NY
OK pick. Mets' potential 2B. This may very well end up being a bad pick as Boone still has to win 2B job this Spring. He's lost with out his roids.

#44 MIKE A Roberto Hernandez RP PIT

Good pick. Pirates' set up man. Hernandez might be 41, but he's still a solid late inning reliever.

#45 KEN Neifi Perez 2B/SS CHI

OK pick. Cubs' utility IF. Perez isn't much of a hitter and doesn't have a starting job, but seems to get ABs anyway resulting in good back up points.

4th round:
#46 BOB Cesar Carrillo SP SD
Good pick. Padres' future #3 SP. Carrillo is a solid SP prospect who could get to the majors quickly.

#47 PAGS Miguel Montero C ARI
OK pick. D'Backs' future C. Montero is a solid all around catching prospect.

#48 PAGS Juan Morillo SP COL
OK pick. Not in Rockies' 2009 projected lineup. Morillo is intriguing due to 3 digit fastball and needs a move to bullpen as he's struggled as a SP.

#49 BOB Eric Patterson 2B CHI

OK pick. Cubs' future 2B. Patterson is a decent hitting prospect.

#50 BILL Eric Reed OF FLO
OK pick. Marlins' potential CF. Reed isn't much of a prospect but could get Marlins' CF job this year after fire sale.

#51 ALEX Jay Bruce OF CIN
Good pick. Reds' future RF. Steal at this point in draft for a quality hitting prospect like Bruce.

#52 BILL Jose Bautista 3B PIT
OK pick. Pirates' future 3B. I'm not as high on Bautista as BA is. I don't see a major league regular here.

5th round:
#53 BOB Marcus Sanders 2B SF
Good pick. Giants' future 2B. Sanders has a high upside and another quality prospect at this point.

#54 DAN Dustin Nippert SP ARI
Good pick. D'Backs' future #3 SP. Nippert is a solid SP prospect who could earn a spot in D'Backs' rotation this Spring Training.

#55 DIORIO Tyler Walker RP SF
OK pick. Giants' set up man. Walker is a shaky RP but did spend most of last year as the Giants' closer.

#56 PAUL Andrew McCutchen OF PIT
Good pick. Pirates' future CF. The string of solid hitting prospects continues with this pick. McCutchen is a steal at this point.

#57 DAN Kelly Johnson OF ATL
Good pick. Braves' potential LF. Johnson gets over looked as he's exceeded prospect status, but Dan likes him to evolve in to a solid regular.

6th round:
#58 BOB Eric Campbell 3B ATL
OK pick. Not in Braves' 2009 projected lineup. Mediocre prospect with chance to get better.

#59 PAGS Dan Uggla 2B FLO
OK pick. Marlins' potential 2B. Uggla isn't much of a prospect but has value as 2B candidate as a Rule V player.

#60 MARK Mark Bellhorn 2B SD
OK pick. Padres' potential 2B. This is a bad pick if Josh Barfield wins the 2B job and Bellhorn becomes a bench player.

#61 DAN Jason Vargas SP FLO

Good pick. Marlins' starting rotation. Vargas has a chance to be a decent SP and Dan under sold him to Ken to solidy his BIF with a gamble on Jerry Hairston.

#62 DAN Anthony Lerew SP ATL

Good pick. Braves' future #2 SP. Lerew is a solid SP prospect who has some closer potential if moved to bullpen.

7th round:
#63 DAN Ben Johnson OF SD
Good pick. Padres' future RF. Dan was surprised to see Johnson still available at this point as he's a solid hitting prospect who could get significan playing time in 2006.

#64 ALEX Scott Eyre RP CHI
Good pick. Cubs' left hand set up man. Eyre tied for the NL lead in holds last year and is a solid guy to fill in at the back end of a bullpen.

#65 DAN Willy Aybar 3B LA
OK pick. Dodgers' potential bench player. Aybar isn't a highly regarded prospect but Dan took a flier based on his .901 OPS in 86 major league ABs.

#66 DIORIO Chin-Lung Hu SS LA

OK pick. Not in Dodgers' 2009 projected lineup. This is a reach pick as Hu is all D and no hit.

#67 DAN Clay Hensley SP/RP SD

OK pick. Padres' middle reliever or #5 SP. Hensley isn't a top SP prospect but was impressive in 47 major league IP with a 1.05 WHIP last year.

#68 ALEX Matt Kemp OF LA
OK pick. Not in Dodgers' 2009 projected lineup. Kemp is a decent power prospect but needs to get better as a hitter to become a better prospect.

#69 DAN Chris Denorfia OF CIN
OK pick. Reds' 4th OF. Denorfia isn't a fan of scouts, but was very impressive last year in the minors and could get decent ABs in Cincy this year.

#70 ALEX Brad Thompson RP STL
OK pick. Cardinals' set up man. Thompson had a decent rookie showing with set up potential last year despite is lack luster fastball.

8th round:

#71 PAUL Nate McLouth OF PIT
OK pick. Pirates' 4th OF. McLouth may hit his ceiling as a 4th OF this year.

#72 ALEX Matt Wise RP MIL

OK pick. Brewers' middle reliever/set up man. Wise was very impressive last year with a sub 1.00 WHIP, however he did close the season out with a shoulder injury.

#73 ALEX Colby Rasmus OF STL
Good pick. Cardinals' future RF. Rasmus is a decent prospect at this point in the draft, good hitting potential.

#74 KEN Abraham Nunez 3B PHI

OK pick. Phillies' platoon 3B. I thought Nunez would go much higher as most owners are trying to contend in 2006. Nunez should get plenty of ABs moving around the IF and could end up on the good side of a platoon at 3B with David Bell.

#75 PAGS Clint Everts SP WAS
OK pick. Nationals' future #2 SP. Everts is a solid SP prospect, but first needs to get fastball back after TJ surgery.

#76 MIKE A Jae Seo SP LA
Good pick. Dodgers' starting rotation. Another player I thought would go much higher. Seo showed some promise in Mets' rotation last year and could be a surprise in Dodgers' this year.

#77 DAN Javier Valentin C CIN

OK pick. Reds' back up C. Valentin hit like crazy last year when he played, but is still just a back up catcher for now.

#78 MIKE A Chris Iannetta C COL
OK pick. Rockies' future C. Solid all around catching prospect.

#79 DAN John Rodriguez OF STL
OK pick. Cardinals' potential LF. Rodriguez has never been much of a prospect, but hit well in majors last year and could get significant ABs this year.

#80 DAN Robinson Tejeda SP/RP PHI
OK pick. Tejeda middle reliever/set up man. Tejeda had a decent rookie season last year and with his plus fastball could evolve in to a solid set up man or SP if moved back to rotation.

#81 DAN Cody Haerther OF STL

Good pick. Cardinals' future LF. Haerther is a solid hitting prospect who Dan thinks could take off in 2006.

9th round:
#82 PAUL Miguel Olivo C FLO
OK pick. Marlins' potential starting C. Olivo was once a top hitting prospect, but has struggled in majors. Could get significant AB in 2006 if Josh Willingham moves to LF.

#83 MARK Chris Aguila OF FLO
OK pick. Marlins' potential LF. Aguila is a 4th OF that gets value in the depleted Marlins' OF.

#84 ALEX John Foster RP ATL
OK pick. Braves' potential left hand set up man. Foster has a chance to be a Scott Eyre type, but could just end up as a middle reliever. Alex cut Foster at the draft after the Barfield heist with Bob; Mark claimed Foster off waivers.

#85 KEN Kent Mercker RP CIN
OK pick. Reds' left hand set up man. Mercker gets some value due to wide open Cincy bullpen, but at best may be just a LH specialist with some holds.

#86 PAGS Oscar Villarreal RP ATL

OK pick. Braves' potential RP. I thought this was a bad pick when Mike took Villarreal. But I've seen his name dropped since in a few places as a closer candidate in wide open Braves' bullpen.

#87 DAN Hunter Pence OF HOU

OK pick. Not in Astros' 2009 projected lineup. Scouts don't like Pence's awkard hitting style, but he's done nothing but hit since being drafted. Dan likes Pence to have a break out 2006 season.

#88 DAN Mark Pawelek SP CHI
Good pick. Cubs' future #3 SP. Pawelek has a big time fastball and is a quality SP prospect to pick up this late.

#89 MIKE A Jeremy Accardo RP SF

OK pick. Giants' set up man/middle reliever. Mike stole Accardo from Dan who had him pegged for one of his final 10 selections. Accardo could evolve in to a solid set up man.

#90 DIORIO Juan Padilla RP NY

OK pick. Mets' set up man/middle reliever. Padilla had a surprise season last year and was very impressive with a  1.02 WHIP in 36 IP.

#91 DAN Fernando Nieve SP HOU

OK pick. Not in Astros' 2009 projected lineup. Dan took Nieve in hopes he gets moved to bullpen where he's received closer hype.

10th round:
#92 PAUL Rich Hill SP CHI
OK pick. Cubs' future #5 SP. Hill dominated in minors last year but got slapped around in bigs. Lefty with big curve, may end up in bullpen.

#93 MARK Julio Santana RP PHI
OK pick. Phillies' set up man/middle reliever. Santana showed some promise as a set up man with Brewers' last year, but still may just end up as a middle reliever.

#94 ALEX Robert Stock C high school

OK pick. Stock is a highly rated amateur prospect, but is just a junior in HS. Meaning he needs to sit on a roster for a year and a half and then still the potential of getting drafted by the AL.

#95 KEN Drew Stubbs OF U. Texas

OK pick. #2 rated college prospect by BA. Don't know much about him.

#96 PAGS Andrew Miller SP U. North Carolina
OK pick. #1 rated college prospect by BA. Miller is a lefty with a plus fastball. I've seen his name mentioned as a candidate to go #1 to the Royals.

#97 DAN Micah Owings SP/RP ARI
OK pick. Not in D'Backs' 2009 projected lineup. Owings dominated in a relief role at high A after getting drafted last year. Dan wants him to stay in the bullpen as the D'Backs' send him to the rotation instead for now.

#98 MIKE A Alay Soler SP NY
OK pick. Mets' future #5 SP. Soler has yet to make his U.S. debut after defecting from Cuba. Has received some closer hype if moved to bullpen.

#99 DIORIO Matt Belisle SP/RP CIN
OK pick. Reds' rotation candidate or middle reliever/set up man. Belisle showed some promise in Reds' bullpen last year, but overall was too inconsistent and needs to get better to have value.

11th round:
#100 MARK Danny Ardoin C COL
OK pick. Rockies' potential back up C. Ardoin isn't a lock to make the Rockies' as the back up to Yorvit Torrealba and this becomes a bad pick if he doesn't.

#101 KEN Randy Messenger RP FLO
Bad pick. Marlins' potential middle reliever. Not sure what Ken was doing here. Ken??

#102 DAN Mark McCormick SP STL
OK pick. Not in Cardinals' 2009 projected lineup. McCormick isn't a top prospect but Dan took a flier due to his plus fastball.

#103 MIKE A Omar Quintanilla 2B/SS COL
Bad pick. Rockies' potential utility IF. Quintanilla at time has been considered a decent hitting prospect, but may just end up being nothing more than a utility IF.

#104 DIORIO Travis Hanson 3B STL

OK pick. Cardinals' future 2B. BA has him shifting to 2B. I'm not a big fan of Hanson despite BA holding out hope.

12th round:
#105 MARK Mark Sweeney 1B SF
OK pick. Giants' potential platoon 1B. Niekro may initially get the Giants' 1B job, but could eventually lose ABs to Sweeney who is a much better hitter against RHP.

#106 KEN Troy Patton SP HOU
Good pick. Astros' future #3 SP. Solid SP prospect at this point. Ken has done well drafting Houston prospects in the past.

#107 DAN Collin Balester SP WAS

Good pick. Nationals' future ace. Another solid SP prospect. Balester could be in line for a break out 2006.

#108 MIKE A Ramon Ortiz SP WAS
OK pick. Nationals' starting rotation. Some players just can't stay out of the league. Bill waived Ortiz in November, but Mike picks him up as he gains some value heading to pitcher friendly D.C.

#109 DIORIO Jayson Nix 2B COL
Bad pick. Not in Rockies' 2009 projected lineup. Not sure what King was doing here. Nix is toast as a prospect, maybe King mixed in his 2004 prospect materials with his draft prep.

13th round:
#110 BOB Chuck James SP ATL
OK pick. Braves' future #5 SP. I'm not a fan as James is a soft tossing lefty. (Who said that about Zach Duke last year)?

#111 MARK Jack Taschner RP SF
OK pick. Giants' potential left hand set up man. Taschner showed some promise late in season in Giants' bullpen. Could evolve in to solid LH set up man.

#112 KEN Nick Webber RP STL
Good pick. Cardinals' future Closer. I like Webber. He's a decent SP prospect and I'm always a sucker for the closer hype.

#113 DAN Blaine Boyer RP ATL
OK pick. Braves' set up man if healthy. Boyer had a solid rookie campaign in Braves' bullpen last year, but did end the season with a sore shoulder.

#114 MIKE A Jonathan Sanchez SP SF
OK pick. Giants' future #5 SP. Sanchez is a decent SP prospect.

#115 DIORIO Matt Capps RP PIT

OK pick. Not in Pirates' 2009 projected lineup. Capps is a hard throwing RP that got some closer hype as the #10 prospect in BA's Pittsburgh list.

14th round:
#116 MARK Felipe Paulino del Guidice SP HOU
OK pick. Not in Astros' 2009 projected lineup. Intriguing prospect due to 3 digit fastball.

#117 KEN Max Scherzer SP U. Missouri

OK pick. #3 rated college prospect by BA. Don't know much about him either.

#118 DAN Scott Elbert SP LA
Good pick. Dodgers' future #3 SP. Elbert is a solid LH SP prospect. He was ranked #6 on LA top 10, but they are deep and Elbert probably could have been #1 for some teams.

#119 DIORIO Tony Abreu 2B LA
OK pick. Not in Dodgers' 2009 projected lineup. Abreu is more of a defensive prospect than a hitting prospect at this point.

Remaining rounds:

#120 DAN Travis Wood SP CIN
Good pick. Reds' future #2 SP. Another solid LH SP prospect picked up late by Dan.

#121 DAN Tony Gorzelanny SP PIT
Good pick. Pirates' future #4 SP. Yet another quality LH SP prospect. Gorzelanny could pitch in majors this year.

#122 DAN Paul McAnulty OF SD
OK pick. Padres' future LF. McAnulty is a Matt Stairs clone. Good hitting potential and could play off Padres' bench this year.

#123 DAN Robert Fick C/1B/OF WAS

OK pick. Nationals' potential bench player. This could end up a bad back and supplemental cut. But if Fick does make the team he could have 150 or so points to throw in Dan' back up catcher spot.

#124 DAN Brandon Medders RP ARI
OK pick. D'Backs' set up man/middle reliever. Medders has never been much of a prospect but was very good in majors last year with 1.05 WHIP in 30 IP.

#125 DAN Brandon Claussen SP CIN

OK pick. Reds' starting rotation. Claussen probably never will be a front line guy, but he's a nice SP to throw in to back end of a rotation. Dan thinks he could have a sem-break out season in 2006.

#126 DAN Josh Johnson SP FLO
OK pick. Marlins' potential starting rotation. Johnson doesn't have great stuff, but has a chance to make Marlins' rotation this Spring Training and become a decent SP.

#127 DAN Brett Tomko SP LA
OK pick. Dodgers' starting rotation. Dan likes this pick, despite the King ripping it. Tomko has been an under achiever the past few seasons, but may get it together in LA. Jeff Weaver and Derek Lowe pitched well after arriving in LA after struggling with prior teams.

#128 DAN Rick Helling SP FLO
OK pick. Brewers' starting rotation. Helling came back from the dead last year and put up  a 1.16 WHIP in 49 IP, warranting a roster spot with Dan.
